Everyday I face these three across the kitchen counter. They like to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ramen, apples, bananas, and cinnamon toast. Today two of them chose leftover pizza.
I grew up in a family with all blue eyes- which I loved. However, I must admit I also love the mixture in my little family. Paul has hazel, I have blue, Joseph has hazel (bright green when he is mad), Rachel has hazel (bright green when she cries), Skye has hazel, Adrie has blue, Katie has blue, and Nathan has brown. For the record, I don't really know what color eyes Paul, JT, Rachel, and Skye have- I just use hazel to describe their brown/green/ gold/ chameleon eyes.
Cute children. Sorry I can't see them every day for peanut butter sandwiches, but I will have one in celebration anyway.
ReplyDeleteI loved to hear what you said about their eyes. When Owen was born with dark eyes I insisted they would be blue, just like the rest of the kids. Well, turned out they are more brown but because I will never concede to being wrong I call them hazel. I definatly feel they are brown/gray/blue/gold/chameleon eyes!
ReplyDeleteWhat cuties! I love their smiles and their colorful shirts. :) Did you have a tie dye party at your place?
ReplyDeleteIt took me years until I figured out the color of most of my kids' eyes. (You're right their eyes must be hazel--what else can you call it?)
Such cuties!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this. They are so adorable! I can't describe how happy they make me too! :)
