Adrie wrapped her towel around her head and said (in her funny squeaky voice): "I am Darth
Sidious!" Who is Darth
Sidious? What happened to watching Sleeping Beauty? Why does my 4 year old think she is a Dark Lord of the
Sith (see, I figured out who he is thanks to google)?
Along with letting my kids watch Star Wars excessively, I have also been growing this Buddha. Apparently, he only eats cream. I warned Paul that he will need to figure something out this Sunday when he blesses Nathan- the classic baby in the center on the circle resting gently on
everyone's hands is not going to fly. I am reminded of those object lessons where they have you hold a jug of milk straight out in front (I can't remember the point of the lesson) and not even the strongest person can do it for very long. That will be Paul on Sunday. It will either be the shortest blessing ever or he will need to hold him in the classic baby next to chest hold (which we prefer anyway- holding a baby out straight in front of you and bouncing them just screams startle reflex to me!) Also, if you are wondering why the picture of Nathan is slightly blurry, no, I am not trying to go for the soft focus look. I realized after I loaded the pictures that someone attacked the lens of the camera with a very grubby finger. Three guesses who it was and the first two don't count.
