It is nap time. Which usually means a little quiet time for me. Time for a break so my mind can calm down before everyone gets home from school. Not recently.
In room #1 we have:
Katie thinks she is quite grown up and has stopped taking naps. I still put her in bed, but usually find her reading books and playing an hour later. Quiet time is still good right?!
In room #2 we have:
Nathan (watch out he bites!) can officially sit up on his own. Which means when I lay him down for a nap, he sits up. Then he plays because he is sitting up. Hmmm. At least he is always happy to see me. It looks like it is time to lower the mattress on the crib also! Where does time go?
I can't understand this aversion to naps. I would love one;-)
Speaking of naps... my two youngest are taking theirs right now so here I am on the computer. I still have Haley in the crib... I don't want to let go of the nap time because once I switch her to a bed I know those days will be gone! I hope Nathan will eventually go to sleep after he plays. They are still pretty stinkin' adorable even if they are naughty for you at nap time!
ReplyDeletei love nathan's smile in that picture!! too cute! he is growing so fast.
ReplyDelete(Hey cute kids you need to let your hard working mom have a break!)
ReplyDeleteWhat darling talented kiddos you have! Reading, sitting up, smiling, or biting. Wow!
I've found Ethan sitting up in the crib twice. Then, this afternoon he actually sat up by himself for us. Pretty fun!
